Downloading WXP
WXP is freely available. There is no restriction on its use.

The WXP website contains precompiled executables and database files for
download.

Pick the binary directory that matches your operating system. In there will
be individual executable files and a "wxp6.tgz" file which has all the
binaries and shared libraries. The tar file has the files in "./bin" for
executables and "./lib" for the shared libraries. Put these files in the
desire subdirectory "/home/wxp" or "/usr/local".
The database files are in the same download page.
Database files
There is a "database.tgz" with a small sample of files for quick
download and setup. Download and untar in the "etc" directory.
Updating Binary and Database Files
These files will be routinely updated. New executables with bug fixes and new features will be in these directories. It is recommended to check these files once every 2 to 3 months for newer versions. The latest compiled version is list after each operating system.
