The sat_path resource specifies the directory where all WXP generated grid files are placed. This can be the output directory for gridding programs such as sfccalc and upcalc or the input directory to programs like contour. Generally, this path is prepended to files specified via the filename resource or used within the in_file and out_file resources. The file name convention wildcard is %G.
NOTE: In most cases, the user will be unable to write to the WXP grid directory so it is recommended to set this to "~/grid" so that the grid files go into the user's grid directory.
